Morten Wilhelm Winther has worked with financial regulatory matters for more than 25 years, the last 10 years focusing on the Fintech sector.
Consistently recognized as a Tier 1 practitioner in Fintech by Chambers for the past seven years, Morten is widely regarded for his deep expertise in payment services and regulatory matters related to digital currencies. His extensive experience includes advising clients on navigating interactions with government bodies and regulatory agencies, ensuring compliance and strategic alignment.
Morten holds a law degree from the University of Oslo (1995) and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from MIT (1989). Alongside his legal practice, he chairs the board of Njord Securities AS and serves on the board of the MIT Club of Norway—reflecting his commitment to leadership and professional excellence in both law and technology.
